Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Lective application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Lective provides an AI-powered study platform that generates flashcards, quizzes, and personalized study plans based on user-uploaded content. The service is available on iOS devices through the Apple App Store.

3. User Accounts

You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you upload to Lective. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process and analyze the content solely for the purpose of providing the study features within the App.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features require a paid subscription, billed through the Apple App Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage your subscription through your Apple ID settings.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Attempt to reverse engineer or tamper with the App
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the App to generate content for academic dishonesty

7. Limitation of Liability

Lective is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email.
